PT_ Daniela Guerreiro é uma artista portuguesa, nascida em 1992, em Faro. Hoje vive em Lisboa onde encontra a maior parte da sua inspiração. Estudou Artes Visuais na Faculdade do Algarve de 2013 a 2014, e depois pintura de 2014 a 2016, nas Belas Artes de Lisboa.
Daniela é uma pintora figurativa cuja intenção principal do seu trabalho é mostrar a realidade, nua e crua, ou seja, a sua visão do mundo. A pintura permite-lhe capturar experiências individuais e coletivas num conceito mais explícito. Cada uma delas incorpora o conceito de exclusão social, vergonha, depressão, insegurança, violência, etc, nomeadamente sentimentos que são pouco ouvidos e falados por parte da sociedade.
Enquanto as pinturas a óleo individualizam a sociedade, os murais e pinturas de rua visam a cobrir um ambiente mais amplo e coletivo
A utilização de modelos não convencionais permite-lhe transmitir uma beleza escondida entre cada um deles, onde procura uma beleza oculta e crua de cada personagem, trabalhando a cor e a interação entre a luz e a escuridão.
Uma jornada pessoal e global em busca de saúde e conexão corporal é seu principal objetivo como artista visual.

PT_ Esta pintura foi feita numa pedreira valorizando o campo das artes e do ofício . Neste caso, a obra representa um artista, escultor e pintor, multifacetado, usando vestes e particularidades semelhantes aos trabalhadores da pedreira em questão. Tanto para os artistas e trabalhadores das pedreiras é necessário esforço, dedicação e persistência. É preciso saber mexer, sujar, pensar, criar e executar em ambos os lados, o que me fez querer dar uma valorização às pessoas que decidem ir por caminhos tão duros e físicos.
ENG_ Daniela Guerreiro is a Portuguese artist, born in 1992 in Faro. Today she lives in Lisbon where she finds most of her inspiration. She studied Visual Arts at Faculdade do Algarve from 2013 to 2014, and then painting from 2014 to 2016, at Belas Artes in Lisbon.
Daniela is a figurative painter whose main intention in her work is to show reality, naked and raw, that is, her vision of the world. Painting allows you to capture individual and collective experiences in a more explicit concept. Each of them incorporates the concept of social exclusion, shame, depression, insecurity, violence, etc., namely feelings that are little heard and spoken about by society.
While oil paintings individualize society, murals and street paintings aim to cover a broader, collective environment.
The use of unconventional models allows her to transmit a hidden beauty between each one of them, where she looks for a hidden and raw beauty of each character, working the color and the interaction between light and dark.
A personal and global journey in search of health and bodily connection is her main goal as a visual artist.

ENG_ This painting was made in a quarry, valuing the field of arts and crafts. In this case, the work represents an incredible, multifaceted artist, sculptor and painter, wearing clothes and particularities similar to the quarry workers in question. Artists and quarry workers are in fact not very different from each other. Both artists and workers require effort, dedication and persistence. You have to know how to move, get dirty, think, create and execute on both sides, which made me want to give appreciation to people who decide to take such hard and physical paths.
