PT_ Isa Marita Romão, 1995, natural de Caldas da Rainha. Designer gráfica de profissão e artista de paixão. Licenciou-se em design gráfico na Esad.Cr em 2017. A artista centra o seu trabalho artístico na arte digital, mas também ilustra fora do ambiente virtual explorando diferentes materiais para além do papel. A humanização de animais é um dos temas do seu trabalho, a exploração destes que a acompanharam na sua infância. Marita capta episódios da rotina e através da técnica de personificação ilustra-os nas suas obras, onde inclui nas suas personagens principais animais e humanos, valorizando essencialmente a figura feminina e o poder que esta tem na sua vida. A mistura entre técnicas digitais e tradicionais são características marcantes nas suas obras.

PT_ Este mural representa a importância das mulheres em cargos de liderança em negócios maioritariamente masculinos, como o caso das pedreiras. Conta a história da mesma mulher em duas fases diferentes da sua vida. As sombras representam todos os desafios e condicionantes que as mulheres têm que ultrapassar, quer seja em contexto social, pessoal ou profissional. A luz é representada pela própria pedra.

ENG_ Isa Marita Romão, 1995, born in Caldas da Rainha. Graphic designer by profession and artist by passion. She graduated in graphic design at Esad.Cr in 2017. The artist focuses her artistic work on digital art, but also illustrates outside the virtual environment, exploring different materials in addition to paper. The humanization of animals is one of the themes of her work, the exploration of animals that accompanied her in her childhood. Marita captures routine episodes and, using the technique of personification, illustrates them in her works, where she includes animals and humans in her main characters, essentially valuing the female figure and the power she has in her life. The mix between digital and traditional techniques are striking features in her works.

ENG_ This mural represents the importance of women in leadership roles within predominantly male-dominated industries, such as the quarrying sector. It tells the story of the same woman at two different stages of her life. The shadows symbolize all the challenges and constraints that women must overcome, whether in social, personal, or professional contexts. The light is represented by the stone itself.
