PT_ Nasceu em Carrara em 1969. Em 1997 inaugurou a sua primeira exposição pessoal em Cracóvia, Polónia, intitulada “Umori”. No ano seguinte, colaborou na restauração de mármores policromados no Kremlin de Moscou. Realiza obras monumentais em países europeus e não europeus obtendo um primeiro prémio em França, com o trabalho em mármore “Boite des Saisons”, na Coreia do Sul com o trabalho em granito “Mechanical Tree” e um terceiro prémio no Irão com o trabalho em persa travertino “Mistério”. Em 2016, na área de design de joias, apresentou a coleção “Divinae” no Palazzo Mimbelli em Livorno. Obteve prêmios e prêmios em vários concursos, incluindo “Gioiellodentro” em Murano em 2015 e “A ‘Design Award and Competition” em Villa Olmo em Como em 2016 e 2017. Em 2019, ele ganhou o concurso para o monumento em memória do engenheiro náutico Carlo Riva e criou a obra de arenito instalada no Lago Iseo. Atualmente é professor da Escola de Escultura da Academia de Belas Artes.
PT_ A obra que criei é dedicada ao Galo. Na heráldica, o galo simboliza o guerreiro valente, vigilante e pronto para a batalha e, como tal, é normalmente associado à bravura. O galo representa também vigilância, coragem, vitória e saúde. Além disso, o galo no topo de muitas igrejas, como a de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, perto das pedreiras de Codacal, indica que é o primeiro a saudar a manhã, sendo por isso o anúncio do sol de Cristo que nasce a oriente.
Criei gravações e desenhos nas superfícies, que depois pintei com a cor vermelha, envolvendo as crianças e os artistas que participaram neste belo evento.
ENG_ Born in Carrara in 1969. In 1997 he inaugurated his first personal exhibition in Krakow, Poland, entitled “Umori”. The following year he collaborated in the restoration of polychrome marbles at the Moscow Kremlin. He creates monumental works in European and non-European countries obtaining a first prize in France, with the marble work “Boite des Saisons”, in South Korea with the granite work “Mechanical Tree” and a third prize in Iran with the work in Persian travertine “Mystery”. In 2016, in the field of jewelery design, he presented the “Divinae” collection at Palazzo Mimbelli in Livorno. He obtained prizes and awards in numerous competitions including “Gioiellodentro” in Murano in 2015 and “A’ Design Award and Competition” in Villa Olmo in Como in 2016 and 2017. In 2019 he won the competition for the monument in memory of the nautical engineer Carlo Riva and created the sandstone work installed on the Iseo Lake. He is currently a professor at the School of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts.
ENG_ The work I created is dedicated to Gallo. In heraldry the rooster symbolises the brave warrior, alert and ready for arms and, as such, is usually defined by the bold attribute. The rooster also symbolizes vigilance, courage, victory and health. Also the rooster on the bell tower of many churches such as that of Nossa Senhora do Carmo near the Codacal stone quarries indicates that the rooster is the first to greet the morning and it is therefore. the announcement of the sun of Christ rising from the east.
I created engravings and drawings on the surfaces which I then colored with red color involving children and the artists who participated in this beautiful event.
