Thierry Ferreira

PT_ Thierry Ferreira nasceu em 1970, na França, mas é entre Alcobaça (PT) e Le Plessis Trévise (FR) que vive e cria hoje. Com mais de uma década de estrada na arte contemporânea, ele mistura Arte Urbana, Escultura Pública e Videoarte, sempre com um olhar fresco e internacional.
Formado em Artes Plásticas pela ESAD-IPLeiria, Thierry acumula prémios e reconhecimentos que cruzam continentes: do 1.º lugar na Bienal de Escultura da Resistência (Argentina) ao prémio no Festival de Escultura de Serpa (Portugal), passando por menções honrosas no Irão e China.
Seja com esculturas espalhadas pelo mundo — do Canadá à Palestina, da Roménia à Rússia —, ou com projetos de videoarte em festivais e museus, Thierry cria uma ponte entre o urbano e o contemporâneo, entre a força do físico e a fluidez do digital.

ENG_ Thierry Ferreira was born in 1970 in France, but today he lives and creates between Alcobaça (PT) and Le Plessis Trévise (FR). With over a decade in contemporary art, he blends Urban Art, Public Sculpture, and Video Art with a fresh, international perspective.
Graduated in Fine Arts from ESAD-IPLeiria, Thierry has collected awards and recognition across continents—from 1st place at the Resistance Sculpture Biennial (Argentina) to the top prize at the Serpa Sculpture Festival (Portugal), along with honorable mentions in Iran and China.
Whether through sculptures spread worldwide—from Canada to Palestine, Romania to Russia—or video art projects in festivals and museums, Thierry builds a bridge between urban and contemporary, balancing the power of the physical with the flow of the digital.
