PT_ Mafalda MG é licenciada em Desenho pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa. A sua prática artística explora regularmente o retrato através de um estilo figurativo monocromático, utilizando tons vibrantes obtidos a partir de uma paleta de cores primárias. A sua preferência pelo trabalho figurativo surge da vontade de capturar a essência de algo tão complexo como o ser humano — especialmente num espaço tão efémero e vulnerável como a rua, onde a obra está constantemente sujeita ao seu desaparecimento.
O seu processo criativo é fortemente influenciado pelos locais onde os projetos são desenvolvidos, sendo muitas vezes o ponto de partida para a investigação conceptual e estética. O trabalho de Mafalda MG pode ser encontrado em espaços públicos e privados em Portugal, Espanha, Reino Unido, Alemanha, Itália e, mais recentemente, na Arménia.

ENG_ Mafalda MG holds a BA in Drawing from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. Her artistic practice regularly explores portraiture through a monochromatic figurative style, employing vibrant tones derived from a palette of primary colours. Her preference for figurative work stems from a fascination with capturing the essence of something as complex as the human being—particularly within the ephemeral and vulnerable setting of the street, where the work is constantly subject to disappearance.
Her creative process is deeply influenced by the specific locations where her projects are developed, often using these environments as a starting point for conceptual and aesthetic exploration. Mafalda MG’s work can be found in public and private spaces across Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and, more recently, Armenia.
